About Our Committees
Fundraising and Innovation
Committee chair: Dana Jones
The fundraising and innovation committee has two main responsibilities: planning the club's weekly prompts and organizing fundraisers. The former involves choosing prompts we think our club members will enjoy and ensuring that everyone will have the supplies they need. For the latter, we decide which fundraisers to hold each semester take care of all of the logistics involved in creating the products and selling them. We would love to hear your ideas!

Marketing
Committee chair: Victoria Grzesiak
The marketing committee is responsible for advertising all Penn Create events, fundraisers, and the Spring Annual Gallery Show. This committee works heavily with the other committees to brainstorm ideas for events and to promote a cohesive identity for the club.
Social and Internal Development

Committee chair: Mickey Gulino
The social and internal development committee is responsible for planning all social events and sending out weekly newsletters to all active members of Penn Create. This committee serves as the proxy between general members and the Executive Board.
Treasury
Committee chair: Jackie Lou
The treasury committee handles all the club's finances for events, activities, and materials. We make sure that there are enough art supplies for everyone in the club and that there is enough money to support fundraisers and events. As a SAC funded club, treasury also serves the liaison between SAC and Penn Create to write budget proposals and secure yearly funding.
Collaboration and Community Outreach
Committee chair: Megan Lentz
This committee is responsible for planning and executing the Spring Annual Gallery Show. The process involves selecting a theme, finding a venue, collaborating with other clubs and/or Philly organizations, and making sure everyone’s artwork is ready for the event.
We also work to form connections and partnerships with other groups on campus and in West Philly. We aim to positively impact our community by spreading appreciation for the arts. One way we do this is by planning service projects. As this committee is slightly newer, we would especially love to hear your ideas and feedback!
